Shipping

Please message with any questions regarding fulfilling your order and when I can get the package to USPS so that it is on the way to you. I try and use minimal packaging or repurposed packaging when shipping the items. This means our fibers and yarns may come loose inside of your mailer. If your purchase is a gift and you would like it "packaged" please contact us. I will be happy to work with you to make the arrival of your purchase special. Etsy remits all taxes and country fees when you check out. Any additional fee or fines from your country's customs are your sole responsibility. I welcome all communications but am a very small business and it may take me a bit to get back in touch with you, I will respond just as soon as I can. Please note, you may receive multiple messages about 'please leave a review'. These are not from CT, instead are from Etsy. Return Policy

We have a 14-day return policy on eligible items, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unwound or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at shop@conservingthreads.com. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping cost. Once return has been received and deemed in good condition, a refund less all shipping and any other fees, will be offered.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
All sales are final on digital downloads, paper patterns, paper catalogs and all vintage items. There are no returns, cancelations, or exchanges on these items so please read the listing descriptions carefully before purchase. We are always happy to answers questions about any of the items we have for sale. Please feel free to contact us.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process
and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at shop@conservingthreads.com.
