This listing is for an original copy of a rare 1893 March edition of The Queen of Fashion, a mail order pattern catalogue from Page and Ringot, Publishers. I believe this edition was published just before the McCalls Co., New York bought the paper. The original catalogue was a subscription service highlighting fashion patterns for mail-order purchase. Originally, the mail-order patterns cost $0.40 per year. The original catalogue was in fair condition and is a 20-page catalog consisting of patterns of the latest fashions that were for sale. These original monthly catalogs are great for identifying antique patterns and getting ideas for those wishing to create fashions inspired by this time period. Actual patterns were not included in this catalog. The spine staple of lacing is missing.
