The original catalogue was printed monthly in New York by the Conde Nast Publication, Inc. and was a subscription service highlighting fashion patterns for mail-order purchase. Drawings of the latet styles with written descriptions were included in each new month. In the August 1923 edition, subscriptions to Le Costume Royal were $3.50 per year.
