2oz Custom blend of 25% Hemp / 75% Alpaca processed into a roving for easy spinning.

The Alpaca fiber is from a small farm here in Northern Texas. The fiber was scoured, picked and carded; then run thru the drum carder adding the hemp fiber. The hemp fiber is sourced from a eco-friendly farming co-op in Europe and has a 4" staple. The additional of the hemp to the Alpaca creates an interesting texture to your spinning and fiber art projects.

The last picture is an example of this hemp/alpaca roving spun and chain plied.
