This hemp has been harvested, washed and dried. Its ready for you to take the unprocessed strands further to spin, twist or card into your choice of fiber, ropes, and yarns. It is harvested from the Himalayan Mountain Region of India. Great for carding, spinning, knitting, art fibers --- the list goes on and on the many things you can make with the nettle roving. Have fun using this bast fiber to create unique art batts by mixing the nettle with other cellulose fibers like cotton or hemp. Or go wild and mix is with protein fibers such as wool and silk. Nettle can add texture, strength or weight to your projects. Or on its own it is thought to rival flax in making cloth.
