A strick is defined as a bundle of fiber that is ready to be converted into sliver form.

This nettle fiber has been harvested, washed and dried. Its ready for you to take the fiber bundle further by hackle, comb, spin, twist or card into your choice of fiber, ropes, and yarns. Great for carding, spinning, knitting, art fibers --- the list goes on and on the many things you can make with the nettle roving. Have fun using this bast fiber to create unique art batts by mixing the nettle with other cellulose fibers like cotton or hemp. Or go wild and mix is with protein fibers such as wool and silk. Nettle can add texture, strength or weight to your projects. Or on its own it is thought to rival flax in making cloth.
