This listing is for 10 yards of hand-spun 100% nettle yarn. This nettle has been harvested, washed, dried and hand spun into skeins of yarn. It is harvested and spun in the Himalayan Mountain Region of India. There may be slight over spinning and under spinning as well as VM/Bark in the yarn due to the hand spun process. Nettle fiber gets softer with each wash so if you find the yarn stiff to work with, simmer the yarn in a water / surfactant bath for 30 minutes to 1 hour. The yarn is wound on a small wood bobbin.
