This bast fiber is green decorticated and is not being sold as a finished fiber product. You may find bark, vegetable matter and hurd still attached, as well as minimal alignment and combing of the fibers. The fibers have not been retted or softened. The fiber is still pretty 'raw' and may need further processing depending on your intended use. Bundles may arrive in one or multiple sets depending on the amount you purchase.

The sea weed is sourced from enteromorpha flexuosa fibers that are in abundant supply in the brahmaputra delta (west Bengal). This seaweed, also known as macro algae, is harvested from the rivers and ponds and then sun dried. Once dried, the long fibers have been partially combed and bundled. the lengths are cut any where between 22" to 26" length. This fiber is ready to ship now.
